Coaster Brake Hubs are with brilliant polished chrome finish and made by cold/hot
forging process and machined on PLC Lathes and Millings. Distortion free Heat
Treatment of all components is done in Sealed Quech Furnance. To eliminate friction,
all Ball Lines are ground on automatic grinding machines. For free & smooth
construction, a roller clutch system is used in which several rollers roll freely
when coasting and sprung brake drum retracts from the brake surface area when
not in use,whereas, other Hubs have more friction because they have free floating
brake shoes which drags loosely against the hub shell when coasting. Brake Shoes
are so designed to obtain highest level of stopping power with lesser amount pressure
on Pedals. Flanges of Hub Shell are one piece, whereas in other Hub flanges are
pressed on the shell. |
